Get A Professionally Written Linkedin Profile

You have to realise there is so much opportunity on Linkedin to connect with recruiters.

Headhunters will search for 8 hours a day on Linkedin to find you and if you don’t have your profile looking like a million dollars then you are missing out on new job opportunities.

We recommend the same companies as we do for CV & resume writing.

If you are inside the UK then we recommend:

The CV Centre or Top CV to write your LinkedIn profile.

If you are outside the UK (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or elsewhere) then we recommend The Resume Center or Top Resume.

Apart from having a beautifully written LinkedIn profile we recommend the following tips for LinkedIn:

1. Give recommendations & start asking for recommendations.

It’s really important to have at least two recommendations on your profile. If you give them out then you are likely to get them back. Also, you can write messages to former employees or co-workers and ask them for a recommendation.

2. Get a professional headshot

You really can’t use a selfie or a photo a friend took in a bar or on holiday. That is not going to cut it. One of your friends is likely a photographer or a trainee photographer. Ask them for a photoshoot!

3. Have a CALL TO ACTION

Make it easy for recruiters to contact you. Leave your email on your profile or tell them to connect via private message. Be clear in what you are looking for and then sit back and wait for the invitations to come in.

Overall, good luck! May you get the job you really want!
